Projects and Logistics Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Director of Align

Position Description:

The Projects & Logistic Coordinator Specialist for the Align Center for Workforce Development will be responsible for coordinating Center projects including project plan, budget, communications, and schedule.  In addition, will oversee the scheduling for training programs including registration, instructor identification, working with training partners and utilization of LMS.  Ensures Center customer’s needs are met and creating a positive customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Facilities/Maintenance:

  • Perform event management duties for Align events.
  • Coordinates schedule for room use in the Center.
  • Manages IT systems and equipment for Align Center building.
  • Manages all forms of facilities maintenance and management (renovations, vendor contracts, building closings, security, drills, etc.).

Contracting/Project Management:

  • Executes and manages LMS contracts and onboarding.
  • Organize food vendors and related rental agreements.
  • Writes and executes all rental agreements with partners and community groups and individuals.
  • Liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
  • Gather information, identify links and trends and apply findings to assignments.
  • Work under pressure on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

Reception/Clerical

  • Demonstrates Align’s “friendly front porch” concept in interactions with partners and community members.
  • Coordinates support for guests/trainers in the Center.
  • Inspire enthusiasm and influence, motivate and persuade others to achieve desired outcomes.

General:

  1. Minimum High School Diploma and certification in event management or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business administration.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and LMS.
  4. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information.
  5. Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives in collaboration with other stakeholders
  6. Demonstrated commitment to Align Center for Workforce Development mission, vision and values.
