Where do I go from here?

This might be a familiar question, especially with all the changes lately in our world, and our way of life.

You may be thinking about your future after school…or you’re re-entering the workforce after a break…or you’re a Veteran looking for new workplace training…or you just want a job that you can look forward to each day.

What’s the next step?

For decades, we’ve been told to get good grades, graduate, go to college, graduate with a degree, get a good job, move up the corporate ladder.

That isn’t how everyone is wired.

That doesn’t have to be the path for everyone to have career success.

A college degree is an admirable, aspirational goal; although it comes with a load of student loan debt to pay off as well. What if your interests change after all that coursework? There’s no guarantee that you’ll land a job in the areas of your degree expertise.

Serving in the U.S. Armed Forces is an honorable tour of duty; but the military job doesn’t always match civilian jobs when you come off active duty. How do you transfer your skills into a new career?

Some people learn by doing. They love tackling problems, trying solutions, learning from experiments, and making the world a better place during the process.
